Nov 04, 2009Reality TCG will be on a hiatus until futher notice. When I do decide to bring it back and reopen it, it will go back to a pre-join stage but current members that want to continue with being a member of Reality will get to keep their cards. So to all current members, Reality will be back one day, so keep your cards in a safe place until we reopen. |
Sep 30, 2009I was going to post a regular update on Monday but I wanted to wait a few days to think about some things. I know I always said that I wouldnt close Reality as long as there were some participating members. Being that we only have 7 members including myself and it seems that only at max 4 members including myself have been semi-active, I am not sure what to do. I would like to know from the active members what you would like me to do. Since most of you have not updated since the end of August / beginning of September, would you like to have Reality stay open and keep it with those of us that are active and hope that more members become active and join or do you just not have the time or care if Reality stays open or not?I really enjoy the concept of a reality television TCG which is why I opened Reality in the first place. I didnt think anyone else would bother to try to open so I decided to give it a go. I was really hoping it would take off and we would get some more active members but that just doesnt seem to be happening. No matter how much I advertise and try to get members, nothing seems to be working. The last member to join was a month ago. I am less then motivated to regularly update if no one is happy with the situation. I know I hate it when there are not very many active members of a TCG and I feel like I am the only one even though I might not be. We could go on a semi-hiatus like Playlist and see if we get any new members and re-fully open when we get a couple more (like go back to prejoin stage almost)? Or keep things like they are (weekly update with a couple new decks and games updated and just let those that want to be active be active)? Or should I just give up on Reality TCG and focus on Playlist? I really need some input. My schedule for work is a lot more hectic this year but it should go back to being a little bit normal around the end of November. Right now Wednesday and Sunday are my only days I have available to really focus on updating. And with Playlist plus I have two fansites (www.sclubmedia.net and www.adrianne-curry.net <-- cheap plug) which I have sort of been neglecting and I have a personal site with tons of fanlistings and a design site which I would like to make some money $ from (www.uninvitedgrace.com/designs/ <--- another cheap plug if anyone would like a layout for their website) but I havent had the time to do. Is Reality TCG worth my time and effort or no? |

Aug 24, 2009I decided to put Playlist on hiatus for a little while until I can get everything straighten out but I am not doing that for Reality. I have tons of cards already made and ready to be added and it doesnt take me that long to update our games and since we are newly open with not a lot of members, our activities are slow. So, NO hiatus for Reality, just Playlist.I am sorry there was no update this week. There will be a regular update this weekend. I am going to try to make our regular updates on Saturdays. |

Aug 16, 2009..... Uh. When I transfered everything over to my computer, I dont remember my password to be able to get into the ftp to upload to the site. I thought I knew it but I dont. Either that or there is a problem with the site for me to be able to logon. I am waiting for a reply from my host. In the mean time, everyone may take 2 cards from the regular randomizer HERE and 1 card from the special randomizer HERE. |
Aug 08, 2009Bad news, I am very sad to say that my desktop computer got a virus. I dont know how I got it but it did. Stupid virus. I am currently transfering over my files from my bad computer to my moms computer until I get a new one. Good news, I went out and bought a brand new laptop today. So, I will not be able to do an update this week because i have to get everything setup and transfered please get and download everything I lost but I should be able to make one next week.Everyone may take a regular card of choice that contains each of the following letters U - P - D - A - T - E . |
